About 9 years ago Viola started the CuppaChino club as a means to meet all her friends and introduce someone to someone else. From that point onward, they all got together on an ad hoc basis and they had lots of laughs and giggles and many new relationships were forged. Hawa Palekar and Yolanda Mabato encouraged Viola to use the platform to be a more structured space for women to engage with each other on major life and business challenges, as well as offer assistance with jobs and work opportunities. In response to this encouragement, a WhatsApp group was formed that added tremendous value and has helped many women and their families. This evolved into the CuppaChino Club Social TV platform to introduce inspirational conversations with ladies at various stages of their lives.

Viola Manuel, is an accomplished senior executive. She's been nominated for multiple awards. She was CEO of the Cape Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Executive Director of The Cape IT Initiative, a Member of the Western Cape Premier's Council of Skills, to mention a few. Viola serves as a non-executive at National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), and is the Deputy Chair of the Cape Town Stadium. She has two entrepreneurial ventures: G and V retail and Afriwellness but her most proud achievement is being a mom to her 10 year old son Shay.
